It doesn’t take a team of legal experts to see that President Joe Biden and his Vice President Kamala Harris have abandoned the Southern Border. The crisis is getting so out of hand that Texas Governor Greg Abbott recently announced he would be unveiling plans to build his own border wall to help stop the influx of immigrants. And it appears that while America is slowly being overrun, the President and his VP are busy rubbing shoulders with foreign leaders. But while liberals gawk at Biden’s lackluster performance, Senator Ted Cruz is here to remind them of the problem they are blatantly avoiding.

On Tuesday, Senator Ted Cruz was attending a congressional hearing where he verbally chastised Biden and Harris for not visiting the border. “Well, you know what, Joe Biden’s in Europe right now. Maybe it’s time for the person ostensibly in charge of the border from this administration to go to the border.”

“In the last month, CBP agents encountered 180,034 illegal immigrants crossing the border. That is a 674% increase from last May. That is stunning. We are on path to have over 2 million people cross the border illegally this year, the highest rate in 20 years. Where were we last year? Last year, we had the lowest rate of illegal immigration in 45 years.”

As mentioned above, Cruz was sure to drag the Vice President, who is currently in charge of the crisis, over the coals, saying, “When asked about it, Vice President Harris laughed and said, ‘Well, I haven’t been to Europe either.’ Harris doesn’t want to go to the border,” Cruz continued. “There’s a reason Senate Democrats on this committee don’t want to go to the border. Because they know if they go to the border, the TV cameras will come with them. And they have no answer for this humanitarian crisis that is playing out.”

And for those that might believe Cruz is lying, on June 8th, NBC’s Lester Holt asked Harris to confirm she had not visited the border. Harris not only laughs at the question but answers, “And I haven’t been to Europe.”
