As if the debacle that was the 2020 election never happened, former President Donald Trump fell back into his old routine, hosting one of his first rallies in Wellington, Ohio. While the Democrats and the media continue to attack him and his supporters, Trump didn’t let it deter him from eyeing a 2024 Presidential bid. But before Trump starts talking about taking over the White House, he was sure to point out the current administration and the great job they’re doing…

In front of a packed house, Trump smashed the Democratic party for thrusting America back into a second-rate country. He said, “[The Democrats] are putting your family into a very, very bad position: releasing criminal aliens, defunding the police, abolishing cash bail.” Sadly, Trump only mentioned a few of the crises Joe Biden is currently juggling.

Speaking on defunding the police, Trump pointed to the heart of America, New York, and how the police there “want to solve the problem” but are being cuffed by the Democrats. “New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, they have great police forces that are not allowed to do their job.”

On top of attacking the police, Trump also mentioned one of Biden’s key points in his agenda – disarming abiding citizens. “They all try to take away your guns.” Trump was sure to add how he warned voters of this back during the election, “If you remember, when I was campaigning against Joe Biden I said, ‘They are going to take away your guns’ and ‘Your Second Amendment is under siege.’”

And for those that might disagree with Trump, take a look at Chicago. Under the guidance of Democratic Mayor Lori Lightfoot, the city has some of the strictest gun laws around, and yet they are reporting record crime rates in 2021. And according to Lightfoot, the answer to beating crime is pushing more gun laws on again – abiding citizens.

But Trump didn’t appear to worry much about Lightfoot or the Democrats as he focused more on the innocent lives being lost. Making a startling accusation, Trump said, “People are being shot by the thousands every year. Worse than Afghanistan, how about that?”
