After months of waiting and doing absolutely nothing to help the Southern Border Crisis, Vice President Kamala Harris finally traveled South to discuss the ongoing problem. While the Democrat was hoping for a warm welcome, she was met with a hard dose of reality as protesters not only showed their disdain for the Biden Administration but how former President Donald Trump did, in fact, win the 2020 election.

Marking her first trip outside the U.S. as Vice President, Harris is set to visit both Guatemala and Mexico this week. Her main agenda is to tackle the “root causes” of the influx of immigrants. And while the Democrats believe it is because Biden is a nice guy, Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei has a completely different theory that involves the Democrats luring immigrants into the United States.

“We asked the United States government to send more of a clear message to prevent more people from leaving. When Biden took office, the message changed too: ‘We’re going to reunite families, we’re going to reunite children. The very next day, the coyotes were here organizing groups of children to take them to the United States.”

Instead of helping Guatemala, Biden merely welcomed the immigrants, even pushing a bill that would grant millions of migrants permanent citizenship.

As for Harris, she told reporters that she and Giammattei had a “robust” conversation during Monday’s news conference. She also changed her tune when it came to immigrants crossing the border, vaguely saying “do not come”. And that wasn’t all as she went on to claim that immigrants don’t want to come to America anyway. “The president and I discussed that fundamentally, most people do not want to leave home, they don’t want to leave the place where the language they know is spoken.”

Continuing with their usual liberal rhetoric, Harris and the rest of the Democrats won’t admit that the crisis at the border is completely their fault. Since stealing the White House, Biden has made it his sole mission to erase Trump’s legacy. And that included stopping construction on “The Wall” which has helped keep America safe and the border secure. 

Thanks to Biden’s leadership, U.S. border detention centers have seen a 21-year monthly high, and sadly those numbers are only projected to keep climbing.
