Thanks to the over 60 Texas Democrats who fled the state instead of voting on election reform, the White House is battling their own COVID-19 pandemic. Even press secretary Jen Psaki won’t comment on the matter because they don’t even know how bad it is. And who could forget, all those Democrat lawmakers were supposedly vaccinated. Although they did charter a plane without a single person wearing a mask. Now, those same Democrats are surprisingly asking voters back home to send them care packages that include money.

When it comes to the Democrats, even your vote is not enough as the Party tweeted an outrageous donation drive that wouldn’t go to COVID-19 pandemic survivors, or maybe the families struggling to put food on the table. No, it will go to the Democrats who fled the state instead of doing their job. 

Still, on Saturday, Dems asked, “Our Dems in DC said they’d appreciate care packages from home. Before 5pm Tues, we’re collecting Dr. Pepper, salsa, hard candy, hairspray, travel toiletries, hand sanitizers, sewing kits, first aid, and/ or $ to pay shipping. TY!” It is unclear if they will take donations from you if you are a member of the GOP. It was just a few months ago that AOC rejected over $100,000 for her grandmother due to it coming from conservatives. 

Before you pull out those wallets, it should be noted that Beto O’Rourke, the failed presidential candidate, donated more than $600,000 to the fugitive Democrats. That’s not all, the members are entitled to a per diem of $221 for every day in session. Again, that is more than most people make in a day, but they still want more. 

As you can imagine, people on Twitter reacted as any reasonable person would. Allen West, who is currently running for Texas governor, tweeted, “Thought Robert Francis (@BetoORourke) was taking care of their needs . . . ? Not to mention the Texas tax-payers paying them $221 per diem. Absurd!”

Commentator Clay Travis added, “The Democrats who abandoned Texas are asking for care package donations?! They are grown adults in Washington, DC refusing to do their taxpayer-funded jobs. And they are surrounded by plenty of stores where they can buy whatever they want. Pathetic.”
