A flawless heist was captured on video at a San Francisco CVS Pharmacy on Monday. The thefts weren’t masterminds. They were nothing more than a group of women. And their target? Anything they saw of value.
Sadly, this has become an all too common occurrence in California as the Democratic stronghold promoted defunding their police. And this incident is just one of many according to the retail workers who just stood by and watched it happen.

First reported by Reporter Henry Lee, one of the witnesses, Steve Adams, was shocked that nobody was calling the police or intervening. The subjects were just blatantly robbing the place. Adams said the four women were “picking the place dry.” When Adams asked if an employee was going to call the authorities, “they just shrugged.” The witness added, “This sort of thing is becoming so normal.”

As mentioned above, this isn’t the first incident to plague the city. In Los Angeles, another video went viral of two men casually leaving a TJ Maxx store. Again, their arms were full of stolen merchandise. San Francisco Police Department spokesman Robert Rueca to Fox News, “Shoplifters aren’t stealing one or two items that someone might need to get by. Our investigations have shown that there are organized fences where people are selling these products that they steal.”

With the surge in crime, retailers have had to make the decision to close earlier and limit the number of people allowed in a store. According to California Retail Association President Rachel Michelin, Millions of dollars worth of merchandise has been stolen from retailers. She added that the funds from stolen items are ultimately used by crime syndicates.

Seeing that businesses were hurting, California Governor Gavin Newsom was forced to sign a bill that would create a task force to investigate the theft rings. The task force will consist of Highway Patrol and local agencies. Again, the same people that Newsom, who is still facing a recall election, sought to defund. While obvious, his recall opponent candidate Kevin Faulconer, blasted the governor claiming he wasn’t hard enough on crime and that has ultimately led to small businesses hurting.

If I had a business in CA, I'd pull out and start over in another state where they don't coddle criminals and punish innocent people. Maybe when CA's tax base is eroded enough, the powers that be will wake up and finally do the right thing.
