Among the numerous lies the Democrats have spread over the years about the GOP, the idea that Republicans would remotely think about defunding the police is comical. Not just over the last few years, but decades, the GOP has stood behind law enforcement and the hard role they play in American society. Still, the Democrats tried their best to spin the narrative that the surge in crime was due to conservatives, so the Republican Study Committee released a compilation video of just a handful of times the Democrats demanding police be defunded.

Known as being the largest House conservative caucus, the Republican Study Committee unveiled their mash-up video on Friday. Although it is only a minute long, it doesn’t take 60 seconds to get the theme – Democrats don’t like law enforcement. And it should also be mentioned that the video is set to the music of “In the Hall of the Mountain King.” It also features some of the best and brightest liberals like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jamaal Bowman, Cori Bush, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar.

As you can see from the video above, it includes not just verbal confirmation that the Democrats lead the charge of defunding police but they also tweeted about it – a lot. Back in January Cori Bush tweeted, “Defunding the police isn’t radical, it’s real.” Omar also supported getting rid of the police, “The “defund the police” movement, is one of reimagining the current police system to build an entity that does not violate us, while relocating funds to invest in community services. Let’s be clear, the people who now oppose this, have always opposed calls for systematic change.”

The ridiculous claims from the Democrats started when White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki reminded reporters that not a single Republican voted for Biden’s trillion-dollar American Rescue Plan, which included $350 billion for state and local government. There was no literature in the bill allotting any money for law enforcement. Still, Psaki said the bill “didn’t receive a single Republican vote. That funding has been used to keep cops on the beat.”
