Todd said Cuomo resigned rather than wait to be impeached because impeachment would have barred Cuomo from elective office in New York. Bingo. Theoretically, Cuomo can dance again.

This way, by resignation, he licks his wounds, goes on a contrition tour, writes a book, gets an Oprah special, goes on television and on a lecture tour, and runs for office again within the decade. Count on it. How is that possible? Because New York voters are gullible idiots who haven’t changed one bit due to the Cuomo scandal. The kind of smarmy NY corruption that got Cuomo elected before could do it again.
