With the takeover in Afghanistan taking center stage around the world, especially in the U.S., the Democrats are anxiously trying to find ways to spin the narrative to make themselves more appealing to voters. Just a few days ago, political comedian, Stephen Colbert, actually suggested that American troops shouldn’t be fighting a civil war in other countries when there is one happening in America right now. While he was trying to compare Afghanistan to the Capitol Hill riot, many Americans were quick to point out the difference between the two. And if that didn’t help the Democrats, the FBI’s new finding surely isn’t doing them any favors.
First reported by Reuters, the FBI stated that “The FBI at this point believes the violence was not centrally coordinated by far-right groups or prominent supporters of then-President Donald Trump.” They also added, “The FBI has so far found no evidence that [Trump] or people directly around him were involved in organizing the violence.”
Currently, there have been more than 570 individuals arrested for the part they played on January 6th. But according to a senior law enforcement official, “Ninety to ninety-five percent of these are one-off cases. Then you have five percent, maybe, of these militia groups that were more closely organized. But there was no grand scheme with Roger Stone and Alex Jones and all of these people to storm the Capitol and take hostages.”
As for the role that former President Donald Trump might have played on that day, it appears he did nothing more than speak at a Save America rally where he stated, “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”
Never once did Trump or any person within his Administration call for the riot or for people to storm the Capitol Building. But while the Democrats are so focused on that day, why don’t they investigate more into the fatal shooting of Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt? She was the only person to be killed on that day, contrary to what the media and Democrats are saying.
