With New York Attorney General Letitia James announcing that Governor Andrew Cuomo allegedly sexually harassed multiple women over his career, the future for the once Democratic superstar is fading fast. Even President Joe Biden called for Governor Cuomo to quit when the news went viral on Tuesday. But while Cuomo remains silent on the matter, trying to remember the good ole days of Emmy awards and book deals, one can’t help but remember in 2018 when the governor blasted Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh for similar allegations. Cuomo even swore to “fight” for the victims, but come to find out – he was a predator himself.

During the final days that would confirm Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, Cuomo released a statement fighting against the confirmation. “The confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court is a sad day for this country, and it will haunt us for as long as he is on the court.  Today 50 senators put partisan politics over the sanctity of the highest court in the nation.” Cuomo added, “In November, the American people get to respond and make their voices heard. In New York, we will not waver and will not back down.”

Cuomo didn’t stop with just Kavanaugh as he also attacked the FBI for what he referred to as a “Sham”. “To Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and all survivors of sexual assault, we believe you and we will fight for you. The sham FBI investigation and the bigger sham, this confirmation process, have energized us to fight even harder for our shared vision for a better future for all.”

Having attacked everyone but himself, Cuomo ultimately aimed his targets at the GOP, who he said, “When it came to sexual harassment they have always diminished the charges of women … consistently. And they’re doing it again to cheapen or ridicule the pain a woman suffers from a sexual attack.” Not to mention, he added it was “sexist and disgusting to second guess how a woman should have acted after a sexual attack.”

Only three years ago, Cuomo was being groomed to be a strong candidate in the 2024 Presidential election, but while he was busy describing sexual predators – it appears he was actually describing himself.
