While the only stance the White House is taking on the Southern border crisis is that it is being monitored by the Biden administration, Department of Homeland Security Secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas, vowed to all illegal immigrants that their journey would never succeed as they would be sent back once processed. But while the DHS Secretary promises no Haitian migrants are being released into the United States, one official told reporters that’s not only false, but the truth is – the number of migrants being released into your cities is in the thousands.

At the beginning of the week, as pressure mounted at the border, Mayorkas warned migrants on their way to the border. “If you come to the United States illegally, you will be returned, your journey will not succeed, and you will be endangering your life and your family’s life. Your journey will not succeed, and you will be endangering your life and your family’s lives. We in DHS are securing additional transportation to accelerate the pace and increase the capacity of removal flights to Haiti and other destinations in the Western Hemisphere.”

But Although Mayorkas took a bold stance, according to Fox News, it was nothing but a bluff. They reported that Haitian migrants were being flown using Aero Airway, which is a top government contractor, to certain cities around the U.S. These include Denver, Chicago, New York City, Washington, and Pennsylvania.

According to the Associated Press, close to 6,000 migrants have been released from the makeshift camp that was under the International Bridge.

The Associated Press also reported on the matter, saying “The criteria for deciding who is flown to Haiti and who is released in the U.S. was unclear, but two U.S. officials said single adults were the priority for expulsion flights.”

While rumors as to where the migrants are being taken continue to circulate, both CBP and DHS have remained silent on the matter and have refused to make a comment.
