Many brave individuals in the past have devoted their lives, even given their lives, to end segregation. Dr. King, Medgar Evers, and others paid the ultimate price so all could live free. But now, racist Marxists want to spit on their legacy. And of course, the impetus comes from academia, the main depository of racism in America today.

FNC: “A university in Washington has created segregated housing specifically for Black students. Western Washington University has designated the fourth floor of Alma Clark Glass Hall as housing reserved for its ‘Black Affinity Housing program,’ becoming the latest school to adopt such a program.” Wonder what would be the reaction to a “White Affinity Housing program”?
Personally, I’d prefer the “High Tory Bourbon-drinking, King’s English-speaking, and Cigar-Smoking Affinity Housing program.” It would be open to anybody regardless of superfluous factors like race or ethnicity. Not like other programs, who subtly turn back the clock to the deep South of the 1950s.
The article (on segregated housing) releases this gem into the world without a hint of irony: “Black Affinity Housing residents, representing all diverse identities….”

“Black Affinity Housing residents, representing all diverse identities, pride themselves on fostering a sense of belonging for all residents by creating a safe environment for open, honest, and sometimes challenging dialogue,” the website continues. Oh I bet it’s challenging alright. One person gets out of ideological line and it’s “racist!” for them.

The university put on a webinar on the subject, opining that segregated living gives students “the opportunity to live in a shared space… with others who have a shared identity, specifically a marginalized identity.” But they’re doing their own marginalizing. And what if a white guy wants to join in the fun? By their standards he is not marginalized. Is he then denied entry on the basis of his skin color? If so, how is it different from the kind of racism this nation fought so hard to get over?
