It should come as no surprise by now that anytime President Joe Biden makes a speech or steps in front of a camera – it’s going to be comical. Although Biden has only been in office going on 11 months, there are already countless videos on the internet showcasing the many blunders, stumbles, and fumbles of the most voted-for President in the history of America. And keeping up with that trend, Biden welcomed the Milwaukee Bucks after their NBA championship victory, and as you might have guessed – it was full of confusion, scripts, and blank stares.

Instead of focusing on their athleticism or team dynamic, President Biden focused on how the team took a stand “for justice and peace in the wake of the Jacob Blake shooting” and how they have encouraged people to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Slightly confused, Biden added, “So, congratulations, Milwaukee Bucks, the best of luck for the rest of this season.”

Quickly correcting himself, Biden went on to admit he was confused as to who was supposed to speak. “Actually, this is a season just beginning for us here. But all kidding aside, best of luck next year, but you all are the best, you’re the best, and it’s a great honor to have you here. Now, I think I’m supposed to introduce somebody, but I’m not sure who am I supposed to introduce now.”

The entire ordeal was caught on video and can be watched above, but it should be noted that while Biden was confused, at one point, he turned and told the players,  “I’m Joe Biden.” There seems to be no reason behind the statement other than Biden knowing who he is.

Luckily, other people got a chance to talk as Biden just stood idly by, but it was only a matter of time before he took the podium again and said, “let me ask the staff, what are we supposed to do now? We’re doing a photograph?”

Through the mishaps and stumbles, the team was able to present Biden with a jersey as the entire event was a gigantic mishap.
