The White House has been adamant that the Biden administration has no idea about the anti-Biden chants or how the general public doesn’t believe President Joe Biden is leading America in the right direction. But although the White House might claim Biden has no idea, during a recent news conference, the President questioned the ability of Americans’ mental capacity to fully grasp the supply chain issue.

On Saturday, just after he drew harsh criticism from his own party members, Biden appeared to be tired of the backlash he has been receiving. Representative Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) told reporters, “Nobody elected him to be FDR, they elected him to be normal and stop the chaos.”

Not liking what he heard, Biden answered back during his conference, “I don’t intend to be anybody but Joe Biden, that’s who I am. What I’m trying to do is, do the things I ran on to do, and look, people out there are ordinary, hard-working Americans [who have been] put through the ringer the last couple of years. People are worried.”

Discussing the supply chain issues, Biden seemed to attack American’s intelligence, “If we were all going out and having lunch together and I said, ‘Let’s ask whoever’s in the next table, no matter what restaurant we’re in, have them explain the supply chain to us.’ Do you think they’d understand what we’re talking about?” He did add, “They’re smart people,” but the crisis is apparently a “complicated world.”

Trying to connect with the public and voters, Biden said, “We’ve never faced anything like this. Whether you have a PhD or you’re working in a restaurant, it’s confusing and so people are understandably worried.”

And if President Biden was tasked at keeping Americans calm, he did yet another dismal job as he concluded, “This is a confusing time.”
