Dr. Phil might be known for hosting segments around estranged families and toxic relationships, but on a recent taping, the host decided to have as guests two individuals who define themselves as “Non-Binary” as well as the host of the Daily Wire podcast, Matt Walsh. Wanting to debate the issue of gender identity, Walsh challenged the individuals to simply define what a woman is. And although most might be able to do it within a few seconds, the supposed woke guests in front of him simply could not. 

Although the topic of gender is highly controversial and can even led to comedians like Dave Chappelle to be canceled, in the video below, Walsh didn’t lash out at the people in front of him or even degrade their stance. Instead, he challenged the narrative by presenting them with a question: “What is a woman?”

Trying to answer the question, non-binary guest, Ethan, admitted, “No, I can’t. Because it’s not for me to say. Womanhood looks different for everybody.”

Asking the other guest the same question, Addison responded, “Womanhood is … something that I cannot define.” Even when Walsh pushed back on the answer, Addison revealed, “I do not define what a woman is because I do not identify as a woman. Womanhood is something that is an umbrella term.”

Before Walsh destroyed the gender identity debate, he also sought to clarify the use of pronouns within the woke community. He stated, “You don’t get your own pronouns, just like you don’t get your own prepositions or adjectives,” Walsh told the guests. “It’s like if I were to tell you, my adjectives are handsome and brilliant, and whenever you’re talking about me, you have to describe me as handsome and brilliant, because that’s how I identify. That doesn’t make any sense. You don’t get your own pronouns.”

At the start of 2022, Walsh was suspended from Twitter when he challenged gender identity, writing, “The greatest female Jeopardy champion of all time is a man. The top female college swimmer is a man. The first female four star admiral in the Public Health Service is a man. Men have dominated female high school track and the female MMA circuit. The patriarchy wins in the end.”
