With the Biden administration being extremely closed off when it comes to the press and America, many are left wondering what is going on within the White House. On top of their dismal first year, the Biden administration has been rocked with numerous scandals. And while the White House might be able to keep the President’s son, Hunter Biden, at bay, the absence of Vice President Kamala Harris has left many to wonder if there is a rift between the President and his second in command.

Although only rumors, for the moment, there was speculation that President Biden and VP Harris weren’t meshing well together and the administration was seeking a change. But those rumors have yet to become more as Harris currently remains the Vice President who was once put in charge of the Southern Border crisis. The same crisis that is still happening now.

But with the first year behind them, Harris decided a fresh start was in order as she posted a picture of herself speaking with President Biden. She added the caption, “A new year to continue building a better America. Let’s get to work.”

While a call to action, Harris’s inspiring words don’t seem to resonate well when considering they were written while she was vacationing in Los Angeles, California. She isn’t scheduled to be back in D.C. until sometime this week.

Not only that, but her tweet calling for Americans to get to work sounds extremely familiar to another tweet she made back during the 2020 election. Once again calling on Americans to do the work, Harris tweeted, “This election is about so much more than @JoeBiden or me. It’s about the soul of America and our willingness to fight for it. We have a lot of work ahead of us. Let’s get started.”

Having not addressed the border in some time, Harris did recently speak with top CEOs on Wall Street and Silicon Valley on how to fix the influx of illegal immigrants. Those names included  Microsoft President Brad Smith, Cisco Systems Chief Executive Chuck Robbins, and Citigroup C.E.O. Jane Fraser.
