The media and the Biden administration might be calling for podcaster Joe Rogan to be de-platformed for supposedly spreading misinformation around COVID-19, but the comedian has also received a mountain of support from not only fans but celebrities who aren’t buying into the narrative being promoted in Hollywood. Fellow actor and comedian Kevin James decided to show his friend some love by commenting on a recent video Rogan uploaded.

As Spotify considers a disclaimer in front of controversial material and White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki calls for more to be done, James wrote, “Joe – we go way back and all these years I’ve known you to be nothing but objective and seeking truth. Thank you. Love you brother.”

The video that James commented on featured Rogan addressing the calls for him to be canceled for having guests like Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Robert Malone, both experts in their fields, on his show. It should be noted that both doctors have different opinions about COVID-19 than the Biden administration. Still Rogan said, “The podcast has been accused of spreading ‘dangerous misinformation. The problem I have with the term ‘misinformation,’ especially today, is that many of the things that we thought of as ‘misinformation’ just a short while ago are now accepted as fact.”

Debunking the misinformation narrative, Rogan added, “For instance, eight months ago, if you said, ‘if you get vaccinated, you can still catch COVID and you can still spread COVID,’ you’d be removed from social media, they would they would ban you from certain platforms. Now, that’s accepted as fact. If you said, I don’t think cloth masks work, you would be banned from social media. Now that’s openly and repeatedly stated on CNN. If you said I think it’s possible that COVID-19 came from a lab, you’d be banned from many social media platforms – now that’s on the cover of Newsweek.”

Discussing the disclaimer, the host admitted, “One of the things that Spotify wants to do, that I agree with, at the beginning of these controversial podcasts, like specifically ones about COVID … put a disclaimer and say that you should speak with your physician and that these people and the opinions that they express are contrary to the opinions of the consensus of experts, which I think is very important, sure, have that on there.”
