While the internet is still torn as to if the altercation between Will Smith and Chris Rock was staged or not, during a recent episode of his Sirius XM radio show, host Howard Stern decided to give his take on the whole matter. Although the slap from Smith came after the comedian made a joke about the actor’s wife, Stern believed he had discovered the true motive, “Will Smith and Trump are the same guy”.

That’s right, once again blaming Trump for all the world’s problems, Stern claimed, “[Smith] open-hand, with a lot of force, smacks [Rock] right in the mouth on TV. Now the first thing I said to myself was ‘what the f*** is going on, is this a bit?’ Because where is security? This is a live television event. Not one person came out, because he’s Will Smith, this is how Trump gets away with sh**. Will Smith and Trump are the same guy.” He added, “He decided he’s going to take matters into his own hands, you know, at a time when the world is at war. Bad timing, man. Calm your f***ing a** down”.

Speaking of the right time, Stern has been on the air dating back to the 80s and has only recently started to become more liberal in the subject matter of his show. Not that long ago, Stern was fined by the FCC for making comments about syrup icon Aunt Jemima. The host said, “The closest I came to making love to a Black woman was I masturbated to a picture of Aunt Jemima on a pancake box. I did it right on her kerchief.” The supposed joke cost him $600,000.

One of the most notable controversies came during the Columbine shooting in 1999 when Stern claimed, “There were some really good-looking girls running with their hands over their heads. Did those kids try to have sex with any of those good-looking girls? They didn’t even do that? At least if you’re going to kill yourself and kill the kids, why wouldn’t you have some sex? If I was going to kill some people, I’d take them out with sex.”

At the time, Stern defended his statement saying “his comments were taken out of context.”
