Courtney Clenney, 25, also known as Courtney Tailor on social media, was arrested and sent to a mental institution after killing Christian Obumseli, 27, according to detectives.

Around 5 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a 911 call from Clenney at the upscale apartment building in Miami, Florida. They discovered her boyfriend, who had been stabbed in the shoulder.

Obumseli was taken to a neighboring hospital by first responders, where he died from his injuries.

A marital argument, according to officers, was the source of the violence.

A Miami PD spokesperson added, “We know there was a physical argument between them before he was stabbed.”

Clenney and Obumseli’s relationship was characterized by heated fights, according to mutual friends.

Ashley Vaughn added, “We’ve seen her hit him.” “This is the first time I’ve ever seen him hit her.”

Obumseli had recently arrived to the area and was living with Clenney in the One Paraiso apartment building in Miami’s Edgewater district, according to close pals.

The couple had a lengthy history of domestic conflicts, according to neighbors in the building, and local police were frequently called in to intervene.

Clenney allegedly threatened to harm herself while being arrested at the police station following the attack.

According to police, the threat prompted an evaluation, which resulted in her being “Baker Acted.”

If specific aggressive or suicidal tendencies are demonstrated, Florida’s Baker Act statute empowers police enforcement, doctors, mental health experts, and courts to commit a person to a mental health treatment center for up to 72 hours.

Clenney’s Instagram account has over 2 million followers, but it’s unknown when she’ll be released from the mental facility.

Despite being detained on April 3, Clenney’s account continued to post OnlyFans content on April 4.

Clenney is not currently facing any charges in connection with Obumseli’s death.

Obumseli’s family has already contributed almost $64,000 through a GoFundMe page.

According to the post, he was killed just one week before his 28th birthday.

The GoFundMe organizer stated, “Christian was highly empathetic with a desire to continually encourage those around him.”

“He did not deserve to have his life taken away by a senseless act of violence.”

Obumseli’s death is still being investigated.

When contacted by the Sun, an emotional cousin of Obumseli, who did not want to be identified, claimed they are “devastated” and that she has been consoling her family.

She said they have knowledge about his death but are “still trying to absorb everything,” and she declined to say anything else while they grieve.
