Joe Biden might be struggling when it comes to being President and juggling the pressures of inflation, soaring gas prices, and the crumbling Southern border, but it seems that the main threat to the White House isn’t the Biden administration, but the son of the President, Hunter Biden. Once deemed to be nothing more than Russian propaganda, the laptop of Hunter Biden was authenticated after President Biden won the 2020 Presidential election. But over the last 19 months, the Biden administration has been hounded about the contents found on the laptop. And the most recent revelation showcased that President Biden helped fund Hunter’s rehab while his son filmed himself doing drugs.
After asking his father to fund the rehab at Blue Water Wellness in Newburyport, Massachusetts, Hunter filmed himself doing drugs and drinking alcohol while at the rehab center. Although Hunter supposedly made millions thanks to his business dealings with China, he asked his father for money as he was drowning in alimony payments. He texted President Biden, “Hey dad I’ve been trying to resolve some immediate financial issues – alimony tuitions and my bill for this program but the cash I am counting on will not arrive until the end of the week. Is it possible to make me another short-term loan in the same amount and I will send it back no later than 10 days.” He was sure to add, “I’m really embarrassed to ask and I know it’s unfair of me to put you in that position right now.”
Throughout Biden’s time as President, he has been adamant about not knowing about his son’s business dealings and suggested he was the smartest person he knew. But in December of 2018, shortly after the text was sent, Biden responded, “Hunt tell me what you need. No problem. Ok how do you want to do this I can pay tuition directly and their housing and give you the rest. 75 being wired today. Love.”

During a 77-minute audio recording found on the laptop, Hunter explained how his father listened to him no matter what. “If I say it’s important to me, then he will work a way in which to make it a part of his platform. My dad respects me more than he respects anyone in the world, and I know that to be certain, so it’s not going to be about whether it affects his politics.”
