Among the countless accusations thrown at former President Donald Trump by Joe Biden and the Democrats was the idea that the Republican had a prospering relationship with Russia. After Trump beat Hillary Clinton in 2016, the Democrats struggled to figure out how they lost. That led to the idea that Trump must have had help, and it mysteriously came at the hands of the Russian government. That conspiracy theory has led to an investigation as the Democrats demand action be taken. But while Trump might be the target for the Democrats, they might want to look behind Joe Biden to his son, Hunter.

According to new emails, Hunter Biden’s real estate company, Rosemont Realty, received a generous $40 million investment. Now, it should be noted that Joe Biden considers his son to be the smartest person he ever met. But it appears that investment came from the widow of a Moscow mayor, Yelena Baturina. Her relationship with Hunter and the transfer of $3.5 million to one of his companies even caused concern in a Senate Report.

The Daily Mail reported, “In 2012, Hunter’s firm had a $69.7million plan to invest in 2.15million sq ft of office space in seven US cities. Documents outlining the plan said the money came from a mix of investors, including $40million from Inteco Management AG, a Swiss company owned by Baturina. The Inteco group is a plastics and construction behemoth that made Baturina the richest woman in Russia at the time. She has a current net worth of $1.4billion, according to Forbes.” The outlet added, “On February 14, 2014, Baturina wired $3.5 million in a series of payments to Rosemont Seneca Thornton LLC for ‘Consultancy Agreement DD12.02.2014’. The report said Hunter founded the company a year earlier with his best friend Devon Archer, a former Abercrombie & Fitch model and advisor to John Kerry, now in prison for fraud.”

Refusing to discuss her relationship with Hunter, Viktor Baturin, her brother, said the money was to “enter the American market.” He told CNN, “Hunter Biden had no interest in and was not a co-founder of Rosemont Seneca Thornton, so the claim that he was paid $3.5 million is false.”

With Hunter under federal investigation since 2018, Judge Joe Brown recently criticized the justice system for its double standard. He told Fox News, “America is becoming no longer the land of the free with this kind of situation because it’s just obvious that compared to what’s happened to, say, Mr. Trump, President Trump, versus what’s happened with this family. It’s like they don’t live in the same country.”

Online users offered their take, writing, “Republicans need to be prepared to do what matters for majority of Americans in next congress while digging through the incredible bias affecting our intelligence community, technology, and education. Pass school choice, cut spending, and stop crime.”
