(Arizona) – After an evidentiary hearing last week, a Judge in Arizona has ruled against Simone Gold in her effort to convince the Court to declare that she is a member of the Board of Directors of America’s Frontline Doctors.

In his findings of fact the Judge found,

“Gold has clearly not demonstrated that she is entitled to injunctive relief. Indeed, Gold’s claim that she is Chairman of the Board of AFLDS is nonsense. Gold clearly and unequivocally resigned from the Board. Gold’s testimony that her resignation was conditional is simply not credible.”

The Judge additionally found,

“The notion that a non-profit company could take donated funds and pay them to a principal of the company to invest in a for-profit business is simply absurd. Gold is a very intelligent physician and lawyer. She had to know that such an arrangement was completely improper and likely illegal.”

Additionally, the Judge found,

“The notion that Gold’s resignation was conditional on her receiving $1.5 million for wellness clinics is absurd. As noted above, the notion that donated funds could be provided to Gold to invest in her for-profit business is ridiculous, and Gold had to know that. Even if the parties discussed providing this money to Gold, it was never a condition to her resignation.”

Finally, the Judge found,

“Since Gold is not on the Board, the Board can make any decision it feels is appropriate with respect to Gold’s ongoing ‘employment’ and status with the company.”

Despite a ruling that made it clear Simone Gold was not on the Board, rejecting her claims as absurd and false, and despite the fact the Judge specifically said the Board could terminate her “employment” Simone chose to send out a press release yesterday bizarrely claiming that she had won.

“I am at a loss as to Simone’s behavior over the last 24 hours,” continued Jenkins. “Bizarrely editing the Judge’s ruling and pretending that somehow she actually won is truly troubling behavior.”

“As the Chairman of the Oversight Committee, my duty has always been – and will continue to be – to the donors, supporters, and members of this organization,” said Jenkins. “The Oversight Committee will be taking all of what the Judge said yesterday under advisement, and we will make recommendations in the days and weeks ahead accordingly.”
