A new investigation by The Oversight Project, an initiative of the conservative Heritage Foundation, has raised concerns about former President Joe Biden’s frequent use of an autopen signature during his time in the White House.
The group alleges that nearly all of Biden’s signed documents throughout his presidency were executed using an autopen device, calling into question who was truly in control of the executive branch.
The Oversight Project shared its findings on X (formerly Twitter), posting examples of Biden’s autopen signature alongside a statement:
“We gathered every document we could find with Biden’s signature over the course of his presidency. All used the same autopen signature except for the announcement that the former President was dropping out of the race last year.”

Following the Oversight Project’s report, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey called on the Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate whether Biden’s cognitive state allowed unelected White House staff to approve and implement executive actions without his direct involvement.
Bailey raised constitutional concerns regarding the legitimacy of policies and executive orders that may have been authorized without Biden’s personal approval.

“If the widespread autopen use turns out to be true, these executive orders, pardons, and all other actions are unconstitutional and legally void,” Bailey said.

The use of an autopen, a device that replicates a person’s signature, is not unprecedented in the White House.
Past presidents have used it for signing bills and routine documents.
However, the scope and frequency of its alleged use by Biden’s administration have raised new concerns.

Federal law requires presidential approvals and executive orders to be signed by the president himself.
If Biden was unaware of what was being signed in his name, critics argue that his entire administration’s policies could face legal challenges.
The investigation also comes amid longstanding concerns about Biden’s cognitive abilities, which were frequently discussed throughout his presidency.
If staff members were effectively governing in his place, legal experts suggest that key decisions—including executive orders, policy changes, and presidential pardons—could be called into question.
Bailey’s call for a DOJ investigation could spark a broader legal debate about the legitimacy of executive actions taken under Biden.
If the allegations are proven, Congress could be pressured to take further action regarding policies enacted under his administration.

As of now, the Biden team has not responded to the Oversight Project’s findings or Bailey’s demand for an investigation.
It remains unclear whether federal agencies will take any steps to review the legitimacy of Biden’s executive orders and policy decisions.

unlike your lead-in—I do not think this will hurt his legacy—-I BELIEVE IT CEMENTS HIS LEGACY!
I would like to see Biden’s signature of his appointment of judges from state to federal in 2021. Anyone know how or where I might find that? I see the announcements but I’d like to see the signature.
Looks to me like senile Joe did even fewer Presidential activities than suspected. He spent most of his time on vacation and the remaining time in a senile fog. The Democrats and their controlled media outlets have much to answer for but will probably escape judgement and run off with their stolen funds and questionable reputations. Their collective financial degradation since Trump’s victory says it all. The media is a vast echo chamber with little of any value to impart. Sad, it used to be much different!
