Singer and actress Ariana Grande publicly criticized supporters of President Donald Trump in a social media post on Sunday, questioning whether their lives had improved since the 2024 election, as reported by The New York Post.
Grande, 32, reshared a message from podcast host Matt Bernstein’s Instagram account, where he addressed the more than 77 million Americans who voted for Trump over former Vice President Kamala Harris.
The post claimed Trump’s presidency brought harm to immigrants, transgender people, and free speech.
Trump's Sovereign Wealth Fund: What Could It Mean For Your Money?
“I want to check in with Trump voters. I have one very genuine question: it’s been 250 days. Now that immigrants have been violently torn from their families and communities have been destroyed, now that trans people have been blamed for virtually everything and live in fear, now that free speech is on the brink of collapse for us all — has your life gotten better?” the post read.
The message continued: “Have your groceries gotten cheaper? Has your health insurance premium gone down? Has your work/life balance improved? Can you take a vacation yet? Are you happier? Has the widespread suffering of others paid off for you in the way he promised it would, or are you still waiting?”

The post quickly sparked backlash on X. Critics accused Grande of being out of touch with everyday Americans.
“Well ignorance is bliss in the little world of the wealthy,” one Trump supporter wrote.
Well ignorance is bliss in the little world of the wealthy. As an average person I save $2000+/month on RX, eggs are still down 60%, unfortunately gas from CA is outrageous thanks to incompetent Newsom. So to answer your question, yes life is better under Trump w/a secure border

Others dismissed the singer’s remarks altogether. “It still amazes me how celebrities think people care what their opinions are. No one cares!! She is a sheep just like most celebrities,” one user posted.
It still amazes me how celebrities think people care what their opinions are. No one cares !! She is a sheep just like most celebrities and repeating things that have read not Che king in on facts before they speak up . Now she wants her fans to do the same !!

Another added, “WHO cares what Ariana Grande thinks? I’m VERY happy about my vote!”
WHO cares what Ariana grande thinks? I’m VERY happy about my vote! Her biggest problem is what marriage is she going to break up next. Perhaps if she spent more time on ethical matters she would learn that illegal means illegal!

Grande has previously been vocal in her support for Kamala Harris, 60, during the 2024 election. She confirmed her vote for Harris through Florida’s early voting program in October 2024, sharing a selfie with a “Your Vote Matters” sticker. The post was paired with Beyoncé’s song “Freedom.”
Three months before the election, Grande shared former President Joe Biden’s Instagram post endorsing Harris after he left the race in July 2024.
Following Trump’s inauguration in January 2025, Grande appeared to criticize fellow singer Carrie Underwood for performing at the event.
Grande “liked” a post from internet personality Evan Ross Katz showing Underwood singing “America the Beautiful” while Harris appeared unimpressed. Katz captioned the post by comparing Harris’s expression to a line from “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
Grande did not issue further comment on either her recent repost or her past remarks targeting Trump supporters and political opponents.
