Sunday night President Trump took a trip outside Walter Reed Medical Center to thank his numerous supporters outside the facility. However, while it was well received by conservatives in attendance, Democrats and the mainstream media immediately claimed that he put everyone in the SUV in danger. They further implied that his little trip was purely a publicity stunt.

In a Fox interview with White House Deputy Press Secretary Judd Deere, he stated that  “appropriate precautions were taken in the execution of this movement to protect the President and all those supporting it, including PPE.” He continued by saying, “The movement was cleared by the medical team as safe to do.”

Leana Wen who is a medical professional and CNN contributor tweeted Sunday night “I’d call security to restrain him then perform a psychiatric evaluation to examine his decision-making capacity.”

James P. Phillips, who is a professor at George Washington University tweeted “Every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary Presidential “drive-by” just now has to be quarantined for 14 days.”

In an interview with the Washington Post, Trump’s doctor, Sean Conley, said he was “trying to reflect the upbeat attitude that the team, the president, over his course of illness, has had.”

President Trump is a strong leader and persistent President, and it was clear he wanted people to see his strength and how he can recover from Covid to encourage them.

White House Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows stated in a Fox Interview, “We came here on Marine One, the U.S. Secret Service agent that is with him has been with him, and yet we took additional precautions with PPE and others to make sure they were protected.”

“A number of folks are trying to make a big deal about that when I know myself and Secret Service details are with him everyday and want him to return to the White House as expeditiously as possible.”

President Trump and everyone working for him is taking the proper precautions during this time. Reportedly, the President is doing well and is in great hands. Though despite his encouraging progress, Democrats are desperate to make Trump look bad right before the election.
