The American people are fed up with the Biden administration across the board. His slightly above his own average leadership during the Ukraine crisis isn’t working for him. He continues to drown.
FNC: “President Biden’s job approval rating has declined to 40%, the lowest level of his presidency, as the president continues to see eroding support from key demographics like independents and minority voters ahead of the midterm elections, a new poll shows.

Republicans are showing a 2-point lead over Democrats ahead of the midterms, with 46 percent preferring a Republican-controlled Congress, compared to 44% who want Democrats to stay in power.
Biden’s rating on the economy is down 5 points, with only 33% saying they approve of the president’s performance on that issue. Merely 28% of respondents said they have either a “great deal” or “quite a bit” of confidence in Biden’s handling of the Ukraine crisis. That’s butter and guns, the two biggest voting factors to voters. If this translates into midterm numbers the Democrats could lose over 50 seats in the House and several in the Senate. That’s way more than enough for the Republicans to take Congress.
And in the most important result of the poll, a big 44% said they have “very little” confidence in the president. That’s crushing. That says a solid majority of Americans likely would not vote for a Biden reelection. But don’t write his political obituary quite yet. There is still more than two years to go before the presidential election and Biden’s fate will depend on whom the Republicans nominate. With DeSantis or Haley, Biden is history. With anybody else it’s a serious crapshoot.
