Hollywood star Drew Barrymore of E.T. just penned a truly bizarre post amidst the coronavirus pandemic on her personal blog in which she compared Mother Earth to an estranged wife who is telling her husband mankind that she is unhappy.

The entire post is so totally bonkers that it’s hard to tell what exactly Barrymore is trying to say, but it seems as if she is implying that humans have brought the pandemic upon themselves because of the way they have treated the environment.

“What if one day, you had been married for many years, and your wife comes home and tells you she is unhappy. That it had been a long time since she was happy. She is thinking about leaving,” Barrymore said at the start of her monologue. “You don’t go back to business as usual. Your whole life just changed. You are shaken to the core. This news haunts you everywhere you go. You are uncertain. This has completely invalidated your reality.”

Later in the post, Barrymore called on people not to give up in their “relationship” to the planet, writing “This is worth fighting for! It wont be easy but what is… Run to her! Run like the end of a movie when you realize you can’t live without her!”

The actress ended her post by telling readers to “take care” of Mother Earth before working in a plug for her 1998 movie Ever After like a true Hollywood narcissist.

“Your wife’s name is Mother Earth. And she is worth it!” Barrymore concluded. “You will live out your days knowing you have to work at it. She is not a sure thing. But if you take care of her, she will love you back. And you can live realistically Ever After.”

Despite the fact that coronavirus has killed hundreds of thousands of people and destroyed the economy, it has become “hip” and “trendy” in leftwing Hollywood circles to say that humans brought this upon themselves. Last week, the singer Cher tweeted out that the world “is breathing easier because we’ve stopped assaulting it.”

Earlier this week, actor Alec Baldwin got in on the action as well.

“This crisis may reveal some unintended consequences,” Baldwin tweeted. “Many may remain working at home, thus reducing traffic and eliminating the need for superfluous office space. Some manufacturing may cease and never return for a variety of things we don’t really need.”

“The airline industry may contract. Which is not a bad thing as the environment is concerned,” he added. “The Coronavirus May be God’s best hope for environmental stewardship.”

It’s both heartless and offensive that Hollywood leftists are already using this deadly virus to push their radically liberal agendas. Now is not the time for this, so if they really feel like humans deserved this pandemic, they should keep their opinions to themselves.
